Charlotte Dodds Personal Quotes

"The wildest thing I ever did was, one night at a Thai restaurant in Paris, I got wasted and stood up on a table full of food and sang 'I Will Survive.' It was during a modeling industry dinner, so all the big-wigs from my agency were there with a bunch of clients. I know it was inappropriate, but it probably helped my career!"

"I bet I'm the most ticklish person you ever meet. I'm the kind of ticklish that you don't even have to touch me and I start giggling. My feet are very sensitive. I like them to be touched, but it has to be the right kind of touch. It can't be too hard or too soft or I go crazy giggling. But giggling is part of making love. Isn't it?"

Charlize Theron is a South African-born American actress. She is best known for her Oscar-winning portrayal of the crazy man killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster.

Charlize wanted to be a ballet dancer when she was a child, but a knee injury when she was 15 ended that dream. So instead, Charlize bought a ticket to LA and never looked back. Her first movie was Children of the Corn Three and luckily, it is the worst movie she has ever done (OK maybe it’s a tie between this and Reindeer Games). She followed this with larger roles in films like The Devil’s Advocate, The Cider House Rules, and Mighty Joe Young. Even though Charlize had achieved great commercial success at this point she was largely considered just a pretty face. This changed in 2003 when she won the role of Aileen Wurnnos in Monster. Roger Ebert called her performance one of the best in the history of cinema. We’ll take his word on it.

Carolyn Kepcher

Carolyn Kepcher
Carolyn Kepcher Biography

Carolyn Kepcher (b. January 30, 1969 in Westchester, New York) is an American businesswoman who was the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and General Manager for the Trump National Golf Club and best known for her regular appearance on the NBC television program The Apprentice. Before her career with Trump ended in August of 2006, she monitored the progress of the contestants on the program and assisted Donald Trump in determining who should be fired.

Kepcher began her foray into business by selling Avon Products door-to-door. Following high school she took a job as a waitress at a Manhattan restaurant, and ultimately attained the role of manager. With little formal education or experience, in 1992, Kepcher secured a position as sales and marketing director of a golf club outside New York City to prepare the property for bank auction. She made a presentation to Trump on how best to use the property and was hired by Trump in 1994, who kept her on as director of sales and marketing. After four years in this capacity, she was named interim general manager after then general manager Karl Hofer was ousted from the organization. Her effective management skills convinced Trump of her ability to lead and later named her the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, New York, and subsequently the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, overseeing over 250 employees at both locations.

On August 31, 2006, Kepcher's employment at the Trump Organization abruptly ended (Trump says she was fired; she says she quit). Her new-found celebrity status had kept her busy with speaking engagements and endorsements leading to Trump's reported dissatisfaction: "She was no longer focused on (Trump) business," according to the New York Post. While it was announced that there will be no official replacement for Carolyn on The Apprentice, Ivanka Trump took her place as she did in season 5.

Following her departure from the Trump organization, Kepcher became co-founder and CEO of Carolyn & Co., a company created for the purpose of "providing a broad array of services and assistance to career women." The company's tagline is "Finding What Matters...Success in Your Career. Balance in Your Life." Currently in its pre-launch phase, Carolyn & Co. is due to fully launch sometime in 2007.

In 2004, she co-wrote the book Carolyn 101: Business Lessons From the Apprentice's Straight Shooter (ISBN 0-7432-7022-3) based on her business experience.

Carolyn was hired by Bill Gates of Microsoft to star in a new reality show "Ultimate Challenge" to find the next best small-business venture. She was to be one of the 3 judges.

In January, 2007 Carolyn Kepcher provided management skills to the nonprofit world through an affiliation with Graham-Pelton Consulting, Inc. , a national leader in fundraising and nonprofit management.

Kepcher is of Irish descent. She is married to George Kepcher. They have two children together - son Connor and daughter Cassidy - and reside in Ridgefield, Connecticut. She holds an honorary degree from Bryant University.

Carolyn Hughes

Derek Christopher Lowe (born June 1, 1973 in Dearborn, Michigan) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He throws and bats right-handed.

Lowe attended Edsel Ford High School (Dearborn, Michigan) and was a four-sport letterman in baseball, golf, soccer and basketball. He was an All-League honoree in all four sports and was a first team all-state pick in basketball.

Lowe was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 8th round of the 1991 amateur draft. He signed with the Mariners on June 7, 1991. The Mariners immediately assigned him to their rookie league team, where he went 5-3 with a 2.41 ERA in 12 starts.

He spent the next several years working his way through several minor league teams: 1992- Bellingham ("A" level = 7-3, 2.42 - 13 starts), 1993 - Riverside ("A+" level, 12-9, 5.26, 26 starts), 1994- Jacksonville ("AA" level, 7-10, 4.94, 26 starts), 1995- Port City ("AA" level, 1-6, 6.08, 10 starts), 1996- Tacoma ("AAA" level, 6-9, 4.54, 16 starts).

Lowe made his Major League debut on April 26 1997, working 3 2/3 innings in relief against the Toronto Blue Jays. He made his first major league start on May 27, 1997 against the Minnesota Twins, giving up four runs in 5 innings. His first career win came on June 6 against the Detroit Tigers, pitching 5 1/3 innings and giving up 3 runs in the Mariners 6-3 victory.

Seattle, however, was desperate for immediate bullpen help and packaged Lowe and catcher Jason Varitek into a deal with the Boston Red Sox for Heathcliff Slocumb. The Mariners' willingness to trade Lowe may have stemmed from his involvement in an incident earlier that year in Federal Way, Washington. Lowe was charged with fourth-degree domestic violence by King County police after his girlfriend claimed that he struck her. Lowe was released on $1,000 bond the next day, and he allegedly violated a no-contact order by returning to her home shortly after his release.

Lowe compiled a 5-15 record over his first two seasons, during which he split time starting and relieving, but came into his own in 1999 after being transferred into the closer's role, finishing the season with 15 saves and a 2.63 ERA.

Lowe had his best season as a closer in 2000 when he led the American League with 42 saves. He was regarded as an unconventional closer, however, as he didn't overwhelm hitters. As a result, despite 24 saves early in the 2001 season, Lowe lost the closer's job at the trading deadline, July 31, when Boston acquired star closer Ugueth Urbina from the Montreal Expos. Lowe was left in limbo, forced to take various setup jobs in the bullpen.

In 2002, Lowe moved back into the starting rotation, a move which paid off immediately. He posted a 21-8 record, a 2.58 ERA, and finished 3rd in Cy Young Award voting behind Barry Zito and teammate Pedro Martinez. Lowe also no-hit the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Fenway Park on April 27 that year, the first no-hitter pitched in that stadium since Dave Morehead's gem in 1965.

Lowe struggled through much of the 2003 season but, boosted by the strength of Boston's thunderous offense, posted a 17-7 record despite a 4.47 ERA. In 2004 he finished 14-12 with a 5.42 ERA in 33 starts, spending part of the season demoted to the Red Sox bullpen. During the postseason he rebounded with a 3-0 record and 1.86 ERA in four games, three of them starts. He was the winner in the final game of all three postseason series — American League Division Series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees and World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals — as the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years. Lowe is the only pitcher in baseball history to accomplish this.

On January 11, 2005, he finalized a $36 million, four-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Controversially, Lowe wore a Boston Red Sox uniform, with his career-long number of 32, during the Red Sox World Series ring ceremony on April 11, 2005, after already pitching for theLos Angeles Dodgers.

As of the end of the 2006 season, Lowe had a career won-loss record of 100-82 with 85 saves and 3.81 ERA.

On August 31, 2005, Lowe nearly pitched the second no-hitter of his career. After giving up a leadoff single to the Cubs' Jerry Hairston, Jr., Lowe did not allow another Chicago hit, picking up a one-hit, two-walk, 7-0 complete game victory while facing only 29 batters.

Lowe is one of only 7 ballplayers who pitched in the NL in 2007 who won at least 12 games in each year from 2004-07, the others being Carlos Zambrano, Greg Maddux, Roy Oswalt, Tim Hudson, Jason Marquis, and Jeff Suppan.

On August 3, 2005 FSN West in Los Angeles announced that "Dodger Dugout" anchor Carolyn Hughes had been suspended pending an investigation into a potential relationship between her and Lowe. Shortly thereafter, the pitcher filed for divorce from his wife of seven years, Trinka Lowe, by whom he fathered two children. Hughes' husband had also filed for divorce and, as of early 2006, Lowe and Hughes were living together.

Caroline Winberg

Caroline Winberg
Caroline Winberg Biography

Caroline Winberg was born in Sollentuna, Sweden as the daughter of Thomas and Camila. Caroline enjoyed a relatively normal childhood and was something of a tomboy in her youth. In fact, it was en route to soccer training that a scout spotted the 15-year-old teenager and suggested that she consider a career in modeling. Though Caroline always harbored dreams of becoming a professional soccer player, the exotic and exciting world of modeling proved to be an irresistible force.

Caroline Winberg began her modeling modeling career at age sixteen. At seventeen she gained sudden fame, not for appearing in a well-known campaign or fashion show, but for a scandal involving herself and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. She claimed that the singer, who was 59 at the time, had been harassing her with phone calls after seeing her on the runway. Her parents, Thomas and Camila, even asked Jagger to leave their daughter in peace. The singer denied any such phone calls.

A year later, Caroline was booking local gigs and appearing in promotional spots for regional companies. It wasn’t long before she caught the eye of several well-known booking agencies -- including Women Model Management, Why Not Milan and Dominique Brussels -- and the up-and-coming model soon found herself working high-profile campaigns for notable names such as Valentino, Versace and Armani.Caroline’s burgeoning fame within the modeling industry quickly necessitated a move to New York City, where she began establishing herself as one of the hottest imports around.
She has been in campaigns for Valentino, D&G, Tommy Hifiger, Adidas by Stella Mcartney, Rolex, Chloé, Versace, Victoria's Secret and Neiman Marcus and has graced the covers of Italian Vogue, Russian Vogue, and (twice) German Vogue.

She currently lives in New York and is friends with fellow models Marija Vujovic, Gemma Ward and Lily Cole.

Caroline Trentini

Caroline Trentini
Caroline Aparecida Trentini (born July 6, 1987) is a Brazilian supermodel. She was born in Panambi, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Trentini is the youngest daughter of Lourdes and the late Jacó Trentini, who died when she was one year old. Her older sisters are Franciele and Élen. Although she had never worked before, Trentini's mother got a job as a public employee when her husband died and raised her daughters single-handedly.

At about age 13, Caroline Trentini was discovered walking down a street in her hometown by an agent, the same one who scouted supermodel Gisele Bündchen, and soon afterward she moved to São Paulo, a common destination for young Brazilian models. She was frightened to be alone in the big city, as Panambi had only 40,000 residents. However, her modeling career immediately took off, and after a year, Trentini moved again, this time to New York City. She couldn't speak English but quickly learned. Trentini's breakthrough came when designer Marc Jacobs cast her in his Marc by Marc Jacobs ad campaign, photographed by Juergen Teller.

In 2004 she was photographed topless by Steven Klein in a freezer, surrounded by meat, for a Vogue editorial. Although the shoot turned out all right, Trentini converted to a vegetarian. " was worth it but I was traumatized," she later remarked. Klein even sent her flowers and a card congratulating her on her professionalism.

Trentini's trendy baby-cheeked elfish looks and trademark freckles have helped her snag coveted runway spots at shows such as Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Versace, Victoria's Secret, Chanel, Christian Dior, L.A.M.B., Baby Phat, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Dolce & Gabbana. She has appeared on the covers of magazines ELLE, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue, among others.

She now lives with fellow Brazilian models Cintia Dicker and Bruna Erhardt in New York City. They are her good friends and "sisters." Of NYC she has said, "I have traveled the world and this is the place I like to be the most." She has said that Kate Moss and Caroline Ribeiro are her favorite fashion icons and that she would like to work with legendary photographer Irving Penn. Currently, she is the face of Gucci Cruise, Oscar De La Renta and Dolce & Gabbana Animelier.

In the May 2007 issue of American Vogue she was featured on the cover with fellow models: Doutzen Kroes, Jessica Stam, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Hilary Rhoda, Chanel Iman, and Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels.

Caroline Ribiero

Caroline Ribiero
Caroline Ribiero (b. 20 September 1979 in Belém, Pará, Brazil) is a Brazilian supermodel of Portuguese and Amazonian Indian ethnic heritage. As a teenager Caroline moved to Sao Paulo to begin modeling, though she faced difficulties because of her lack of curves and imperfect teeth . She states of her own looks, ""I think my face is different, it's exotic -- not like normal beauty. I don't have what you would call perfect beauty... With a face like mine I can play around".

Caroline's modeling career improved after she signed with the Marilyn Agency in Paris in 1999. She became the "favorite model" of Tom Ford and appeared prominently in Gucci campaigns . Caroline also walked the runway for Victoria's Secret along with fellow Brazilian models Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. Caroline also became a Revlon spokesmodel. She has appeared on the covers of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.

Carolina Ardohain

Carolina Ardohain
Ana Carolina Ardohain Dos Santos (born January 17, 1978 in General Acha, La Pampa) is a supermodel and television star in Argentina, also known by the nickname "Pampita". Her mother Tanhia Dos Santos is Brazilian by birth. At the age of 17, Ana left home and went to Buenos Aires. She worked in sales until a casting agent spotted her. The casting agent wanted not only a pretty face but a girl with character. Pampita fit this role. Her still photography work includes the likes of Victoria's Secret and Wonderbra. She has also been featured in ad campaigns for Honda and Coca-Cola. At times she is seen posing practically nude and has many racy photos to her name. Ardohain also has hosted her own TV variety shows, "El Rayo" and "El Sitio", which were ratings winners.

During the FIFA World Cup South Korea-Japan 2002 campaign, Ardohain was voted the national football (soccer) team's representative, or "Godmother" as many called the honorary post. She was invited by Televisión Española to the TV program El Show de Flo in September 2002. She continued as actress in the Argentinian TV series "Rebelde Way" (2003) and "Doble Vida" (2005). In February 2004 she was jury and Queen of the International Music Festival of Viña del Mar, in Chile, and became a personality very popular in Latin America and the United States.

Carolina Ardohain married model and photographer Martín Barrantes in November 2002. In September 2005 she separated from Barrantes in the midst of a tumultuous media-hyped rumor that she was having an affair (which she denied). She rather quickly began dating and living with Benjamín Vicuña, a famous actor from Santiago, Chile. Newspapers published photos of Ardohain walking her beagle, clearly showing that the model was pregnant.

Ardohain and Vicuña had a girl, named Blanca after Benjamin's grandmother. Ardohain has been quoted as saying, "This is a child that we have been waiting for and have loved since the first moment. I'm so proud, having done things without hurting anyone." The birth also bought about a reconciliation between Ardohain and her mother. Currently, Ardohain is expecting her second child with Vicuña.

Carolina Ardohain has generated some jealous comments from other Argentine models. Gossip columns frequently cited how models Nicole Neumann and Julieta Prandi called Pampita a "mucamita" (servant girl or maid) and "muqui" (short for mucamita), essentially labeling her as coming from short peasant stock and not worthy of the high-class world of fashion modeling.

Not only naturally beautiful, Ardohain also has a bubbly personality and is renowned for her passion and skill in dancing. She is considered the top model of Argentina and had a reputation for partying. But she now shies away from the glamours of the model's life, instead opting for quiet nights with Vicuña. Her down-to-earth manner may be in part due to her humble beginnings. She is also known for her various charity works.

Carmen Kass

Carmen Kass
Date of Birth: September 14, 1978

Carmen Kass grew up in Estonia and moved to Milan after being approached by an Italian scout. She now enjoys a successful runway career in New York and Paris.

She loves to play Chess and won the VH1 Model of the Year for 2000.

Kass grew up in the Estonian city of Paide. When she was little girl, she lived in Sika village. Her mother worked in farm. There, she was brought up by a single mother and lived in a cramped apartment. At the age of fourteen, she was 'discovered' in a Tallinn supermarket by an Italian modeling scout. Kass had wanted to compete for the Miss Estonia title, but an offer to fly to Milan, Italy, to start a modeling career seemed like a more glamorous and lucrative option.

Carmen Kass officially moved to Paris at the age of 18. Soon after, she received exposure on the cover of magazines worldwide, such as Vogue (France) in 1997, ELLE (Australia), Image (UK), Madame Figaro, Numéro France, Vogue (France), and Vogue (US) in 1999.

In 1999, Kass modeled for top designers such as Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Prada, Versace, Fendi, Chanel, Chloe, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy.

Carmen Kass is well-known for her distinctive runway walk. A quirk of the Estonian supermodel is that while she is very tall, her feet are quite small (about an American size seven). It is said that she sometimes simply falls out of her shoes while walking.

In 2004, Kass starred in the Estonian murder-mystery film Täna öösel me ei maga (We Won't Sleep Tonight). The international release was retitled Set Point.

Also, in February 2004, she joined Estonia's ruling Res Publica Party. Kass ran for the European Parliament after her homeland joined the European Union in May 2004. She won about 2000 votes from the Estonian electorate, but was not elected to the European Parliament.

Kass plays chess and was elected president of the Estonian National Chess League in 2004. She ran a campaign to obtain the right to organise the 2008 Chess Olympics in Tallinn; however, that right was given to Dresden, Germany.

Aurelie Claudel

Aurelie Claudel
Aurelie Claudel Biography

Aurelie Claudel was born August 7, 1980 in the small town of Saint-Mars-d'Autille, France, and is one of three children (she has two brothers).

As part of a prominent French family -- her father was a distinguished notary -- that includes being the descendants of French sculptress, Camille Claudel, Aurelie's dreams of life in the limelight were understandably met with some reservation. Her father thoroughly disapproved of her quitting school, but his daughter was too determined to let her dreams drift away.

However, destiny would eventually win out, for at the young age of 13, Aurelie was approached about modeling by a man named Dawn Wolfe, who had seen her in the Jardin des Plantes park in Paris. In spite of her father's objections, Aurelie followed her heart.

It was a gamble that paid off handsomely for Aurelie. By 18, she was on the cover of a European edition of Cosmopolitan and her phone hasn't stopped ringing since.

In addition to Cosmopolitan, she has also been featured in Marie Claire and Vogue, both in the European and American versions. She has also strutted numerous catwalks for most of the designer heavyweights, including Chloe, Emanuel Ungaro and Gucci, as well as Victoria's Secret. She also donned a bikini or two in Sports Illustrated's 2001 Swimsuit Edition.

You might even recognize Aurelie from her appearance in Ricky Martin's "Private Emotion" video.

Her ability to shine in front of a camera lens is a feat that has garnered her the attention of such legendary photographers as Mario Testino (who photographed Aurelie in an edition of the Pirelli calendar), Peter Lindbergh and Steven Meisel (the man behind Madonna's infamous Sex book).

When she's not in front of the camera, Aurelie enjoys horseback riding and traveling to islands.

In addition to the ad for Calvin Klein's "Truth," Aurelie continues to pursue her modeling career. She will no doubt turn up as the face of another major campaign very soon.

She comes from a relatively prominent family (her father was a distinguished notary). She is a descendant of the famous French sculptress Camille Claudel.

She was approached in the Jardin des Plantes in Paris by Dawn Wolfe at the young age of 13. Her father thoroughly disapproved of her quitting school and pursuing a career in modeling but she did it nonetheless.

Claudel appeared as "The Pregnant Model" in an editorial for the April 2006 edition of US Vogue, called The Shape Issue.

Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn
Audrey Hepburn Biography

Audrey Hepburn (4 May 1929 - 20 January 1993) was an Academy Award and Tony Award winning Anglo-Dutch actress of film and theatre, Broadway stage performer, ballerina, fashion model, and humanitarian.

From 1988 until her death in 1993 she served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and was honoured with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work. In 1999 she was ranked as the third greatest female star of all time by the American Film Institute.

By 1944 Hepburn had become a proficient ballerina. She secretly danced for groups of people to collect money for the Dutch resistance. She later said 'the best audience I ever had made not a single sound at the end of my performance'.

The controversy over Hepburn's casting reached its height at the 1964-65 Academy Awards season, when Hepburn was not nominated for best actress while Andrews was, for Mary Poppins. The media tried to play up the rivalry between the two actresses as the ceremony approached, even though both women denied any such bad feelings existed and got along well. Julie Andrews won the award.

Two for the Road was a non-linear and innovative movie about divorce. Director Stanley Donen said that Hepburn was more free and happy than he had ever seen her, and he credited that to Albert Finney. Wait Until Dark in 1967 was a difficult film. It was an edgy thriller in which Hepburn played the part of a blind woman being terrorized. In addition, it was produced by Mel Ferrer and filmed on the brink of their divorce. Hepburn is said to have lost 15 pounds under the stress. On the bright side, she found co-star Richard Crenna to be very funny, and she had a lot to laugh about with director Terence Young. They both joked that he had shelled his favorite star 23 years before; he had been a British Army tank commander during the Battle of Arnhem. Hepburn's performance was nominated for an Academy Award.

Hepburn's last starring role in a cinematic film was with Ben Gazzara in the comedy They All Laughed, directed by Peter Bogdanovich. The film was overshadowed by the murder of one of its stars, Bogdanovich's girlfriend, Dorothy Stratten; the film was released after Stratten's death but only in limited runs. In 1987, she co-starred with Robert Wagner in a tongue-in-cheek made-for-television caper film, Love Among Thieves which borrowed elements from several of Hepburn's films, most notably Charade and How to Steal a Million. The TV-film, which also starred Jerry Orbach as a villain, was only a moderate success, with Hepburn being quoted that she appeared in it just for fun.Hepburn at age fifty-nine in Always

The marriage to Ferrer lasted 14 years, until 5 December 1968; their son was quoted as saying that Hepburn had stayed in the marriage too long. In the later years of the marriage, Ferrer was rumored to have had a girlfriend on the side, while Hepburn was rumoured to have had an affair with her younger Twofor the Road co-star Albert Finney. She denied the rumours, but director Stanley Donen said, "with Albert Finney, she was like a new woman. She and Albie have a wonderful thing together; they are like a couple of kids. When Mel wasn't on set, they sparkled. When Mel was there, it was funny. Audrey and Albie would go rather formal and a little awkward. The couple separated before divorcing. During their separation, Hepburn lost weight. She met Italian psychiatrist Andrea Dotti on a cruise and fell in love with him on a trip to some Greek ruins. She believed she would have many children, and possibly stop working. She married him on 18 January 1969. Although Dotti loved Hepburn and was well-liked by Sean, who called him "fun", Dotti had affairs with younger women. The marriage lasted 13 years and ended in 1982, after Luca and Sean were old enough to handle life with a single mother. Though Hepburn had broken off all contact with Ferrer (she would only speak to him twice in the remainder of her life; at Sean's graduation and first wedding), she remained in touch with Dotti for the benefit of Luca.

In 2003, the United States Postal Service issued a stamp illustrated by Michael J. Deas honoring her as a Hollywood legend and humanitarian. It has a drawing of her which is based on a publicity photo from the movie Sabrina. Hepburn is one of the few non-Americans to be so honored.

The "little black dress" from Breakfast at Tiffany's, designed by Givenchy, sold at a Christie's auction on December 5, 2006, for £467,200 (approximately $920,000), almost seven times its £70,000 pre-sale estimate. This is the highest price paid for a dress from a film. The proceeds went to the City of Joy Aid charity to aid underprivileged children in India. The head of the charity said, "there are tears in my eyes. I am absolutely dumbfounded to believe that a piece of cloth which belonged to such a magical actress will now enable me to buy bricks and cement to put the most destitute children in the world into schools." The dress auctioned off by Christie's was not the one that Hepburn actually wore in the movie. Of the two dresses that Hepburn did wear, one is held in the Givenchy archives, while the other is displayed in the Museum of Costume in Madrid.

In December 1992, one month before her death, Hepburn received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work in UNICEF. This is one of the two highest awards a civilian can receive in the United States.

Asia Argento

Asia Argento
Asia Argento Biography

Asia Aria Anna Maria Vittoria Rossa Argento (born September 20, 1975 in Rome) is an Italian television and film actress and director. The City of Rome's register office refused to acknowledge Asia as an appropriate name, and instead officially inscribed her as Aria Argento. Despite this, she uses the nameAsia Argento professionally. ("Asia" is pronounced "" in Italian).

Her mother is the actress Daria Nicolodi and her father is Dario Argento, an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter well known for his work in the Italian giallo genre, and for his influence on modern horror and slasher movies. Her first child, Anna Lou, was born on 20 June 2001. Italian rock and roll musician Marco Castoldi (lead singer of Bluvertigo), also known as Morgan, is the father.

Asia Argento was directed by her father Dario Argento in one of her first works, Trauma (1993), when she was 16. During this film she also had her first nude scene. She received the David di Donatello (Italy's version of Hollywood's Academy Award) for Best Actress in 1994 for her performance in Perdiamoci di vista!, and again in 1996 for Compagna di viaggio, which also earned her a Grolla d'oro award. In 1998, Argento began appearing in English-language movies, such as B. Monkey and New Rose Hotel, with Christopher Walken.

In addition to her cinematic accomplishments, Argento has written a number of stories for magazines such as Dynamo and L'Espresso, while her first novel, titled I Love You Kirk, was published in Italy in 1999. She has modeled for and endorses the brand "Miss Sixty". The band Hondo Maclean from South Wales, gained Argento's interest when they wrote a track named after her. She liked the track so much she sent them pictures which they used as the cover of their 2004 EP Chasing Angels.

From the 17th to the 25th of October 2006, Argento contributed a video diary to Nick Knight's website, SHOWstudio. The title of the 54 entries/episodes was "Don't Bother To Knock" and detailed Argento's daily life with three entries (noon, 6 pm and midnight) posted every day. The content of the entries were partially controlled by a discussion forum and together formed a cohesive whole, a sort of "mini-movie" anyone could view for free. In the clips Argento discusses topics such as freaks, her father, Fellini and her sexuality; she also journals a pregnancy, a new love interest and her unraveling psyche. All of these issues come to a head before Argento's final revelations and good-byes. The last visual of the diary is a digitally manipulated portrait of Argento taken by Knight, slowly burning away.

Fantasma dell'opera, Il (1998) (The Phantom of the Opera) is the third film Asia has made with her director father, Dario Argento; in 1992 she made Trauma (1993) (filmed in the US) and Sindrome di Stendhal, La (1996) in 1996. Asia Argento was born into a family of actors and movie-makers (her mother is the actress Daria Nicolodi) and is one of the most sought-after actresses of the moment. She made her debut when she was only nine years old in Sergio Citti's "Sogni e bisogni" (1984) (mini). In 1988 she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's first film Zoo (1989) and was part of the cast of _Chiesa, La (1988)_ , directed by Michele Soavi. The following year she played Nanni Moretti's daughter in Palombella rossa (1989) (also directed by Nanni Moretti).

It was with Amiche del cuore, Le (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido that Asia's career really took off and she was able to move on from playing very young girls to more mature, complex roles. The movie was well received at Cannes film Festival. In Trauma (1993) she worked for the first time with her father, playing an anorexic girl in search of her parents' killer.

Asia's absorbed, intense style of acting was well-used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze (1993). In 1993 she co-starred in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista! (1994) in which she played Arianna, a physically disabled girl - an intricate, difficult role which won her the David di Donatello for best actress ('93-'94). She also had a featured role in the international cast of Reine Margot, La (1994) directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio (1996), which again won her a David di Donatello and a Grolla d'oro.

In 1994, Asia turned her hand to directing two short films: 'Prospettive' (an episode of the film DeGenerazione (1994)) and 'A ritroso'. In 1996 she directed a documentary on her father, and in 1998 one on Abel Ferrara Abel/Asia which won her the Rome Film Festival award. In 1999 Asia made her debut directing a feature film entitled Scarlet Diva (2000) for which she is the leading actress and author of the screenplay. Ashley Massaro

Ashley Massaro
Ashley Massaro Biography

Massaro grew up in Long Island, New York, where her brother and father competed in amateur wrestling. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a minor in Business from the State University of New York.

The following night on RAW, WWE Divas Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson called out Massaro, claiming they wanted to welcome her to RAW. After Ashley came out, Candice and Wilson turned heel and started beating down Ashley. Ashley continued to feud with the two divas who were soon joined by Victoria. Victoria later defeated Ashley in her in-ring debut match.

One of Ashley's biggest wins to date came at New Year's Revolution 2006 when Ashley was able to win the first ever Bra and Panties Gauntlet match by being the final Diva left still wearing her clothes. Following WWE tradition, to please the fans, she removed them herself before making her exit.

Through the early part of 2006, Ashley became the victim of a series of vicious attacks from a jealous Mickie James. At the 2006 Royal Rumble, Mickie defeated Ashley with then Women's Champion, Trish Stratus, as the special guest referee. However, Ashley got her revenge one week later by pinning James in the rematch on RAW.

During the February 20, 2006 edition of RAW Ashley suffered a fractured left fibula while being eliminated from the Women's Battle Royal. Upon further medical consultation, it was announced on WWE.com that because of the spiral crack in her left fibula, Ashley would need surgery. She underwent the procedure to have a plate positioned in her leg in March 2006. During her recovery, Ashley still occasionally appeared on RAW as part of the Stratus/James feud, albeit in a non-active role.

She has competed in Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageants and was crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA in 2002 and Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada in August 2004. She has appeared in FHM, Stuff, Maxim, and on the cover of Playboy after joining WWE though she had previously posed for Playboy under the name Ryan Mackenzie. In addition, she has appeared in both Femme Fatale, and FLEX magazines. She claims that she approached WWE with the idea of doing the show, and after going through the casting process, she found out she made the show ten days before she had to leave for China to film it. Prior to the experience, Massaro had never been camping before, so to train for the show she had to get used to being outside. She was voted out on the second episode, after six days in China.

Aria Giovanni

Aria Giovanni
Aria Giovanni Biography
Aria Giovanni (born on November 3, 1977) is a nude model and actress who was Penthouse Pet for the month of September 2000.

Giovanni was born in Long Beach, California; her father was Italian-Yugoslavian, her mother French-German-Irish-West Indian. About her early life, Aria has recounted she was quite shy, with only one friend in high school, but that she did very well in her classes. According to her website, she did so well that she was able to graduate and head to college by the age of 16. Part of the reason for that was that she entered rehab at age 12 for drug and alcohol problems and stayed there for 26 months. During her second year in rehab she was able to start taking high school classes and was able to take two years worth of classes during that time. When she did leave to go to a regular high school, it was for her junior year.

In 2000, Aimee Sweet introduced Giovanni to glamour photographer Suze Randall, who in late May of that year shot photos of Giovanni which appeared in the September issue of Penthouse magazine. At the same time, she also appeared on the web site Bomis, posing clothed for a Ferrari giveaway contest.

Around the same time that she shot the Penthouse photos, she transferred to University of California, San Diego as a junior transfer student intending to major in biochemistry and minor in English writing. However, she opted not to attend as she felt that the workload would not leave time for modelling; "I knew I could always come back to school, but I probably couldn't come back to modeling."

In 2001, she played Monica Snatch in the movie Survivors Exposed, a parody of the Survivor television series. She also appeared on the TV dating show Shipmates (Episode dated 16 November 2001).

Giovanni has appeared in bondage, fetish, amateur, glamour and artistic photography. She has gained particular respect for being among relatively few large-chested models working in the field who have not undergone cosmetic surgery.
Italian princess Aria Giovanni already had an underground following with her brief stint in amatuer work, a decision fueled by her needs to pay tuition bills at UCSD, where she was majoring in biochemistry.

When Aimee Sweet came across Aria, she immediately saw her potential and sent her to Suze Randall for polaroids. After a few warm up sets that got Aria comfortable with real glamour photography, Suze shot her centerfold for Penthouse magazine. Bob Guicionne also recognized her star quality and the Penthouse offices went into an uproar-- a custom made Harley Davidson motorcycle was already halfway across the country to be photographed with Bob's first choice for anniversary Penthouse Pet, but the minute he saw Aria's pictures the bike was promptly turned around to make it's way back to California.

Beyond her super sex star status, Aria is a down to earth homebody who loves to just have a glass of wine and curl up with a book, such as her favorite, Les Miserables. She loves to cook, and is especially fond of Italian food, red wine and port, as well as her favorite dessert, creme brulee.
